Funding Awarded by Nottinghamshire County Council

We are delighted to share that The Joyful Jukebox CIC has been awarded funding through Nottinghamshire County Council’s Local Communities Fund.

This support will enable us to continue delivering our much-loved, dementia-friendly community sing-alongs across Rushcliffe, providing welcoming, inclusive spaces where people can come together to sing, socialise, and connect. These sessions play an important role in improving wellbeing, reducing isolation, and bringing joy to many in our community.

The funding will also allow us to expand our work into Gedling, reaching new participants and extending the benefits of Joyful Jukebox to even more people who may be experiencing loneliness or health challenges.

We are incredibly grateful to Nottinghamshire County Council for recognising the value of our work and for supporting us to continue and grow. We would also like to thank our volunteers, partners, and participants, whose enthusiasm and commitment make Joyful Jukebox such a special and impactful community.

Together, we look forward to another year of music, laughter, and connection.

The Joyful Jukebox is coming to Carlton

The Joyful Jukebox is delighted to be expanding into Carlton this May – marking our first sing-along outside of Rushcliffe.

Made possible through funding from Nottinghamshire County Council, this new session will bring our proven, feel-good format to a new community, supporting connection, wellbeing, and shared moments of joy through music.

Our sing-alongs have already made a meaningful difference to many people’s lives, helping to reduce isolation, boost mood, and create a strong sense of belonging. We’re proud to now be able to extend that impact into Carlton.

We’re excited to begin this next chapter and to welcome new faces to The Joyful Jukebox.
